Due to the length of time it was expected to heal I ordered 2 boots, one for each front foot so she could walk evenly. I wanted to keep her in the pasture but was not able to keep the bandage/wrap on her foot. Our mare had a hoof abcess that made it very painful for her to walk. Do not include the heel bulbs in your measurement. Measure the length of the hoof from the toe to the buttress line of the heel.
